Belly of the Dragon is a 0.5-mile hike located just outside of Orderville, UT. The Belly of the Dragon is actually a culvert that diverts water under highway 89. The tunnel is man-made, though it's roughly hewn walls and ceiling feel more like a natural cave.

The hike itself is very easy, but getting down into the tunnel can be a bit tricky. You'll have to climb down a small concrete retaining wall to get into the tunnel.

The tunnel is easy to walk through if it's dry. We've taken a 2-year-old with no problems. When water is running through the tunnel, you can still walk through without getting wet, but it requires climbing up onto the higher pathways on either side of the tunnel. These paths can be slippery and children will need help climbing up.
