Plan on a very full day of driving. You'll need a full tank of gas (and you'll want to top it off every chance you get) and bring food and water. There isn't much cell service either, so be sure to have your route planned out and saved.
The Spiral Jetty is in almost any art book you'll see in college. Walk the Spiral Jetty and then head out to the Great Salt Lake. Plan on at least 1-2 hours once you are there.

The Sun Tunnels are four giant tunnels in the middle of the desert. Hang your hammock and stay for a while.
