Zion National Park is located in southwestern Utah in Washington, Iron and Kane counties. Zion National Park is close to the town of Springdale. The park is comprised of Zion Canyon, Eastside, and Kolob Canyon (which is located off I-15 miles away.) Some of the most popular draws include Temple of Sinawava, Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel, Angels Landing, The Great White Throne, and the Court of the Patriarchs. Open Year-Round.

What to Bring

Stroller

Our favorite stroller is the B.O.B. This is hands down the best stroller we've ever used. It can haul all of our stuff, carry the kids, and it even has rear suspension. Pushing the B.O.B. is a lot less tiring and easier on the wrists and elbows. It's more expensive, but worth every penny.

Water Bottles

We've tried all kinds of water bottles, but the CamelBak Eddy is our favorite. They don't leak or spill, easy to open and close, and easy to clean. Plus, in our experience, they are virtually indestructible!

Chacos

We've taken Chacos on every kind of hike imaginable, and haven't been let down. These sandals are great for any type of terrain, and we especially love wearing them when we know we'll be walking through water.

Headlamps

You'll want a headlamp when visiting here. We don't have a favorite, but we usually buy cheaper ones since they tend to get lost or broken a lot :)

Hiking Boots

Forsake "sneakerboots" are our favorite hiking shoes. They are waterproof and breathable, super comfortable, and provide great ankle support and stability without restricting motion.

Trekking Poles

When hiking where there are a lot of elevation changes, or in places with uneven ground, trekking poles can help you keep your footing and reduce fatigue. We recommend bringing some when visiting this location.
