This hike follows the Capitol Gorge which varies in width from 50' in places to about 15' at its narrowest. A dry creek bed runs down the middle of the gorge. About 1/4 mile into the hike there are petroglyphs, and after another short distance, you'll come to Pioneer Register where you can see early pioneer settlers' names carved into the rock walls. Additional features can be seen as you continue the hike. It goes as far as you want it to.
